A large landfill and recycling station needed fast assistance in removing precipitated metals from its leachate stream. The site’s consulting engineer reached out to Monroe to see if it was possible to get a temporary system in place quickly to help meet their required limits.

Monroe received the call for assistance on a Wednesday, reviewed the application and process requirements with the engineering firm, and provided a rental proposal the same day. The consulting engineer reviewed the capabilities of the X-Flo Mobile Clarifier™ with the landfill’s engineers and they agreed it was a great fit for their needs. The site issued the PO the following day, and because Monroe had a stocked fleet of rental X-Flo Mobile Clarifiers available they were able to ship out that same day, even though it was the busy week of Christmas.

The unit was installed and operating within one week of receiving the inquiry from the client’s engineer. The X-Flo is helping the site to effectively reduce precipitated metals from its leachate stream, and might we say, it looks great doing it!
