The Monroe Environmental Welder/Fabricator Certification Program offers the perfect opportunity to work, earn college credit with free tuition, and have guaranteed employment.

You can make money, advance your education, and jump start your career!

Here’s How it Works

  • 1

High School Seniors are eligible to apply for the certification program during their senior year.

  • 2

Young adults under the age of 25 are also eligible to apply.

  • 3

If accepted, we will pay your tuition at Monroe County Community College (MCCC) for our customized curriculum for welding and fabrication in an industrial manufacturing shop.

  • 4

Each applicant will be required to work at Monroe Environmental while taking classes at MCCC. You will also be able to work during the summer before your first semester and during college.

  • 5

When you graduate, you will be offered a full-time job with Monroe Environmental with benefits and competitive wages.

At Monroe Environmental, you’re not just choosing a job — you’re helping to protect clean air and water around the world. We build awesome equipment for the largest manufacturing companies – and you can be a part of it!

We offer generous work benefits including shop pension, 401(k) with company matching, paid time off, referral bonuses if your friends or family come to work with us, and ample opportunities for overtime pay.
